• Euclid Summit New flagship pan European event, Croatia 2016

    The Euclid Summit is Euclid Network’s new flagship pan-European event, which captures the latest trends in skills and knowledge for social impact. It will foster knowhow exchange and develop foresight on emerging skills needs across knowhow for people, knowhow for money and knowhow for impact.

    This unique event which will be held in Zagreb, Croatia will feature forward-thinking masterclasses, knowhow-sharing sessions and informal knowhow cafés across these three management issues.

    To mark the end of the TRANSITION project, 2016 will kick off with a social innovation incubation conference –Supporting Social Innovations to Grow: TRANSITION’s Journey.

    Drawing on some of the key lessons and tools developed as part of the TRANSITION project, the conference will bring different players from European social innovation incubation ecosystem(s): social innovators, incubators, investors, foundations, researchers, policy makers together to discuss the approaches, challenges and next steps needed to support social innovations to grow in Europe.

    The Institute of Technology Tralee is one of 7 Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) involved in the development of the Campus Engage (www.campusengage.ie) led National Student Volunteer Database www.STUDENTVOLUNTEER.IE.  This National database is a bespoke and innovative web-based social media tool to promote, manage, match and measure student volunteering activity in higher education.

  • IT Tallaght launch StudentVolunteer.ie/ittallaght

    IT Tallaght Dublin are pleased to announce the launch of the National Student Volunteer Management System – www.studentvolunteer.ie for use at Institute of Technology Tallaght and the local community.  This system developed in co-operation with the Campus Engage Network Partners – University of Limerick, DCU, NUI Galway, IT Tralee, UCC and TCD aims to manage and promote the extensive contributions made by IT Tallaght and other higher education students to their local community and nationally, through volunteering activity.
