Campus Engage delivers capacity building workshop to EU Commission H2020 National Contact Point Academy on Engaged Research for Greater Impact:
NCP academy brings together Horizon 2020 NCP Coordinators, to implement training on cross-cutting issues that will addresses quality standards and good practice. Following the launch of the Campus Engage Engaged Research Report, Society and Higher Education Addressing Grand Social Challenges Together in 2017, a request was made by Enterprise Ireland (Academy Coordinators) to Campus Engage, in association with the Irish Research Council, to deliver a session on “Planning for Research Impact” for the NCP Academy.
Campus Engage Working Group members, including Sarah Bowman, Trinity College Dublin and Kate Morris, teamed up with Aqua TT to deliver a full day workshop that took place on Wednesday the 6th of December in the Aisling Hotel and was attended by H2020 NCPs from across Europe. The workshop was fully interactive, activity based, with exercises and sharing of NCP experience. It included review of evaluation reports to identify strengths and weaknesses, to inform a scaled up version of the training. The training was very well received with very positive feedback from all attendees.
