The International Visual Methods Conference 'Making Maps' Workshop will bring together researchers and practictioners and their creative visual and meaningful mapping methods that elicit, express, document, distribute and exchange community kowledge within geographic places.
The workshop invites submissions within several topics:
- Creative methods for the visualisation of local, indigenous and/or tacit knowledge in communities
- Innovative visual methods, toold, technologies, interfaces, games, objects and artefacts for visual mapping in public contexts.
- Novel visual community engagement, planning and sustainable development tools and mapping approaches.
Submissions of abstracts must be sent to email@example.com by June 5th 2015 with notification of acceptance by 26th June 2015.
