The Irish Universities Association (IUA) represents, promotes and provides support services for the seven Irish Universities. The IUA is a non-profit making body with charitable status.
Working as part of a small dynamic and supportive team, you will work with the Chief Executive of the IUA on communications tasks and small research projects. You will also provide a proactive role in supporting the Campus Engage National Coordinator in a major initiative to implement an existing marketing and communications strategy to launch the national student volunteering database on campuses. The Campus Engage National Network has been set up to promote civic and community engagement as a core function of Higher Education on the island of Ireland, by better enabling HEIs, their staff and students across all disciplines, to engage with the needs of the communities they serve. http://www.campusengage.ie/
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic team player with organisational, research and communications skills to be involved in national initiatives and to gain direct exposure to senior professionals as well as to a major network of associates across Ireland.
The role will be based at the IUA, with travel to associated higher education institutions.
This is a paid internship at €1,450 gross per month and would be most suited to a recent graduate looking to put their skills into practice, to gain relevant and practical experience and make their mark at a national level.
