The Trinity EngAGE Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) – Strategies for Successful Ageing – is open for registration on the FutureLearn platform. This five-week MOOC will run in February 2016, and presents world-leading research in successful ageing, which may challenge many of the assumptions you have about growing old. The lead educator on this MOOC is Professor Rose Anne Kenny, Professor of Medical Gerontology, Director of Mercer's Institute for Successful Ageing, and Founder of The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA). She is joined by Trinity EngAGE Principal Investigators including: Professors Davis Coakley, Brian Lawlor, Ian Robertson, Des O’Neil, Virpi Timonen, Sabina Brennan, Fiona Newell, Richard Layte and Dr David Robinson.
'What is so unique about this MOOC is that the content was developed by academic experts in consultation with older people - our key stakeholders. We already have thousands of learners signed up from across the globe. It's really quite inspirational.' Sarah Bowman, Director, Trinity EngAGE.
