Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is the European Union's inclusive approach to ensure that societal actors work together during the whole research and innovation process. 
Its aim is to help align Research & Innovation with the values, needs and expectations of European society.

Open for applications: CKI Civic Engagement Module, 2015

The CKI at NUI Galway is delighted to be able to offer places on the Civic Engagement module as part of the PG Diploma in Academic Practice, commencing on Thursday 22thJanuary 2015 (12pm to 3pm) in the Arts Millennium Building at NUI Galway. As part of our ongoing commitment to civic engagement within higher education nationally and the HEA supported Campus Engage Participate Programme, this module is offered for free to academic staff within the higher education sector.

Unique community health programme receives Pride of Place Award

Institute of Technology Tralee President’s Civic Spirit Award 2014

The  ITT Presidents Civic Spirit Gold Award 2014 was awarded to Ms. Debra Donovan by Dr. Oliver Murphy at the Graduation Ceremony in October. Debra is a most worthy winner of this award, her volunteering throughout the year included working with: Kerry Adult Literacy and Basic Education Service, Tralee Coder Dojo, Shannow Family Resource Centre and the ITT Enterprise Society.
