From 9 – 18 May, Voluntary Arts Week celebrates creative participation, so why not get involved in one of our many events?

During the week, groups from all over the Ireland, north and south of the border, will open their doors and demonstrate their awesome creativity with specially organized events.

She will headline two campus events focused on the concept of the civic university and on community engagement benchmarking and performance measurements.

Call for Papers: Stakeholder involvement: an inclusive or exclusive practice?

For the next EASST conference - Situating Solidarities: social challenges for science and technology studies (17 - 19 September 2014, Torun, Poland) - we plan a session on stakeholder involvement. This includes CSO involvement, of course. We invite you to submit an abstract for it.

NUIG ALIVE to award 865 Student Volunteers,1 April in 11th ALIVE ceremony, presented by Senator Hildegarde Naughton

On the 1st April 2014, the ALIVE Programme (A Learning Initiative and the Volunteering Experience) at NUI Galway will celebrate 11 years of student volunteering. This year 865 students will attain the prestigious certificate for volunteering efforts both on and off campus in a range of clubs, societies and community-based organisations. This year Senator Hildegarde Naughton will officiate at the event to be held on campus at the Bailey Allen Hall at 11.30am.
