The Academic Leadership and Development project, funded under the HEA Strategic Innovation and Development Call, will support the enhancement of academic leadership and management capacity within Ireland’s seven Universities.  

The IUA invites applications for the new 14 month position of Academic Leadership and Development Project Manager.

For the next EASST conference - Situating Solidarities: social challenges for science and technology studies (17 - 19 September 2014, Torun, Poland) - we plan a session on stakeholder involvement. This includes CSO involvement, of course. We invite you to submit an abstract for it.

NUIG ALIVE to award 865 Student Volunteers,1 April in 11th ALIVE ceremony, presented by Senator Hildegarde Naughton

On the 1st April 2014, the ALIVE Programme (A Learning Initiative and the Volunteering Experience) at NUI Galway will celebrate 11 years of student volunteering. This year 865 students will attain the prestigious certificate for volunteering efforts both on and off campus in a range of clubs, societies and community-based organisations. This year Senator Hildegarde Naughton will officiate at the event to be held on campus at the Bailey Allen Hall at 11.30am.
