It is a pleasure to invite you to join one of the flagship events of the EUA Council for Doctoral Education – the 2023 EUA-CDE Annual Meeting, “Engaged research – the role of communication in doctoral education”. This conference, hosted by Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology and University of Helsinki, will take place from 14-16 June in Lahti, Finland.
At the heart of this event is the critical role that communication plays within doctoral education. Over the course of three days, academic leaders, doctoral education professionals, senior and junior academics, and other stakeholders will come together to exchange ideas and discuss topics such as the development of communication competences, engagement with society, intercultural communication, the future of the doctoral thesis, and the role of social media and other new forms of interaction.
The 2023 EUA-CDE Annual Meeting is also an opportunity to connect with peers, kick-start collaborations and immerse yourself in European doctoral education. In addition, EUA-CDE members are also invited to propose contributions for the parallel sessions or apply for the “My doctoral school in 3 minutes” format.
Register now to take advantage of early-bird pricing until 21 April 2023. After this date, standard registration fees will apply.
