InSPIRES – Open call for participatory research projects on health and environmental topics

The EU InSPIRES project launches an open call for funding participatory research projects focused on health and environmental issues that are considered key societal challenges, giving special attention to gender parity and vulnerable groups (women, the elderly, adolescents, migrants and refugees).

InSPIRES brings together practitioners and experts from across and beyond Europe to co-design, jointly pilot, implement and roll out innovative models of participatory research projects through Science Shops. The projects are inspired by Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), Open Science (OSc) and Impact Evaluation in order to make them more open to civil society and other stakeholders and more effective.

With the aim to facilitate broader implementation of participatory research processes outside the InSPIRES consortium, the project has launched this open call. Successful applications will be granted with a maximum of 20,000€ for each participatory research project which will be designed and implemented with RRI, OSc and Impact Evaluation approaches.
