New Release: “Researcher Impact Framework: Building Audience-Focused Evidence-Based Impact Narratives”

Impact Framework
Campus Engage is delighted to announce the release of Communicating Your Impact as a Researcher – An introduction to the Researcher Impact Framework, by Giovanna Lima and Sarah Bowman. The Research Impact Pilot was developed by the Office of the Dean of Research, the Trinity Long Room Hub and the School of Medicine in response to the need from researchers to address the evolving nature of, and their experiences with, communicating research impact. We hope you will pick up some interesting insights and feel inspired to engage with and learn more about impact in all its guises.

The release was accompanied by an event held in the Trinity Long Room Hub on Wednesday 12 October, featuring a panel discussion with Professors Mary McCarron, Joseph Roche, Orlaith Darling, Lisa Doyle, and Wolfgang Schmitt. The Framework is available open access on TCD’s TARA at https://doi.org/10.25546/98474. The Framework is accompanied by two bespoke databases to encourage and assist researchers to capture their impact across a range of scholarly activities along their research journeys – see the template for researchers and research projects. Please feel free to circulate the links to all who may benefit from it.
